CASE STUDY

Revl automates the entire video creation process for Falcon Skydive.

Falcon Skydiving takes first time skydivers on a new experience and delivers a video with it. They are a medium sized Drop Zone outside of Kansas City capable of running up to 100 tandems in a day. After seeing significant growth in recent years, they needed to find ways to become more efficient.

Falcon had a full time editor working to produce videos for their customers. Their guests would leave the Drop Zone without their video and would have to wait until Monday when the weekend’s batch was mailed out via USPS because they couldn’t get the videos completed while the customer was on site. With varying shipping times and the occasional lost envelope, Falcon Skydiving would get calls from guests wondering where their video was. Their only solution was to search their files, create a new video, put it on a CD and ship it again.

Finding a more efficient way.

When Falcon heard about Revl, they realized there could be a more efficient way of delivering guest videos. After installing Revl’s system at their drop zone, they no longer had to depend on an editor to cut, edit, render and burn the weekend’s videos before Monday.. This was taken care of automatically and within minutes, not days. Immediately, overhead on the videos dropped and customer satisfaction skyrocketed. Their team also found that videos were delivered on the same day and their customers were sharing their video online, still feeling the adrenaline of the jump.

Bonus Benefits

After using Revl for the summer, Falcon also had the realization that their phone calls to the office had dropped dramatically. Guests were no longer calling to ask about their videos -- they had been delivered automatically the same day. They also saw an uptick in their social media presence from their guests posting the videos that fit Facebook and Instagram’s format.

Falcon not only became more efficient, faster and more reliable. They also grew their business!
